Options to consider
• Round Corners

• Holes
• Emboss
• Curved plates
• Serial numbers
• Specialty Adhesives
Metal Labels
For decorative labelling options aluminium labels is worth a consideration.
The antique and high-end finish gives these metal labels a high value look compared to the standard paper, vinyl, or direct print options.
A suitable adhesive can be placed on the back of the label as this will assure the label is adhered and cannot be removed without being damaged.
Direct Printed Nameplates
If you have an application that will be open to the elements in its applied surroundings then normally a metal plate is preferred over a vinyl label. The printing is not as long lasting as an etched plate however if the nameplate will be used is a lower harsh environment, then direct print will supply a less cost option.
Etched/Anodised/Colour Filled Nameplate
To enable more flexibility of the finishes available and to improve the contrast the base aluminium can also be anodised.
This will enable a permanent colour stain to be placed onto the metal finished surface and this metal preparation is also suitable for the etching and colour fill process.
The anodised process is commonly used for warning plates.
Embossed Nameplate
To make a nameplate 3 dimensional there is the option to add an emboss to selected areas on the plate. Softer metals like aluminium can have a higher emboss.
As the embossing is added towards the end of the processing the emboss can be placed directly on the printed graphic.
